What Can a Golf Course Teach us about Diversification?

It takes course management to effectively play a round of golf. You can have all the skills of a PGA professional, but if you don't know the basic course layout it can make for an extremely long day of golf. It takes time to get a "feel" for the course; to learn the proper angles to avoid sand traps, to appreciate the subtle nuances of the greens, to know when to challenge water hazards and when to lay up. In a word, without proper course management, the game of golf can be "frustrating."

Clients new to the managed futures industry may find it equally frustrating if they don't have a general grasp of the futures markets. With this is in mind, we created a golf course to describe 78 different markets across eighteen sectors (i.e. holes). Our golf course will introduce clients to the futures markets providing market descriptions, seasonal tendencies, contract months, quotes and charts, trading hours, and a technical analysis overview for the individual markets.
