firm, has established itself as an up and coming Commodity
Trading Advisor (CTA) within the managed futures
industry. As the research arm of that firm we continue
to push the boundaries of technology by developing exciting
and innovative trading programs. We have a culture of

Chart Research is looking for qualified researchers
to focus on the development of trading system specifically
for the global futures market. These mechanized systems
will be thoroughly evaluated and potentially incorporated
into our existing trading portfolios. At Chart Research
you have the opportunity to turn your thoughts into
profits virtually over night.
We will supply the system development software, educational
resources, access to mentors and the opportunity to
implement your system in the real world. All you have

Research
Positions (Full-time and Part-time)
People with quantitative minds who enjoy mathematics,
physics, the hard sciences, or who simply enjoy the
challenge of creating effective strategies to trade
the markets will (upon qualifying) have the opportunity
to access our research platform in the comfort of their
own home and gain the opportunity to profit from their
efforts. Individuals will even have the opportunity
to transition into a full-time career with an international
investment firm.
Research candidates, in general, will be given the
task of developing robust (profitable) quantitative,
rule-based trading strategies. Markets can only go up
or down, so the challenge is discovering quantitative
clues that each market offers about the future direction
of price. Once a trade is entered in a market, the next
challenge is to develop rules for when to exit a trade.
The concept is simple and we believe that the best trading
system ideas are still out there. Are you up of the

Student
Researcher
People who are still in school will be candidates
for this position. Researchers can work from their home
at any time of day or night that they desire, which
eliminates any scheduling conflicts with classes. We
are strong proponents of higher education and have designed
this position to complement your academic endeavors.
For those who are selected, this position represents
the ultimate opportunity while you are in school. Selected
individuals will gain valuable work experience for their
resumes and, at the some time, have the opportunity
to apply and potentially transition into a full-time
